A man widely known for multiple road rage attacks has now been sentenced in Hawaii after assaulting a mother and daughter during a parking practice session. Nathaniel Radimak, who previously made headlines in California for violent road rage incidents, will spend several years in prison following the shocking attack.
The case gained major attention after surveillance footage showed Radimak allegedly punching a teenage girl and attacking her mother in broad daylight on a Honolulu street.
Nathaniel Radimak Sentenced in Hawaii Road Rage Attack
Nathaniel Radimak, 39, was sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading no contest to charges including unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and two counts of third-degree assault.
According to reports, he was also given credit for nearly one year already served in custody.
The sentencing comes after a violent confrontation that took place on May 7, 2025, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Mother and Daughter Attacked During Parking Practice
The incident happened while a mother and her teenage daughter were practicing parallel parking on Halekauwila Street.
According to the mother, Diane Ung, a Tesla speeding down the road nearly hit them. After the close call, her daughter reportedly shouted, “Slow down.”
That comment allegedly triggered Radimak, who was driving the Tesla at the time.
Road Rage Incident Caught on Camera
After hearing the remark, Radimak reportedly made a U-turn and confronted the family. According to Diane Ung, he aggressively approached their vehicle and demanded to know what they had said.
Surveillance footage later showed Radimak lunging toward the car and appearing to punch the teenage daughter in the face before walking away.
Ung said she then stepped out of the vehicle to protect her daughter.
Mother Says She Was Struck in the Face
The situation quickly became more violent after Ung threw her iced coffee at Radimak’s car.
She claimed Radimak ran toward her and delivered what she described as a “Superman punch” directly to her face.
Ung fell to the ground and suffered a serious head injury.
After the attack, Radimak drove away from the scene. The mother and daughter then checked on the younger woman’s baby, who was also present during the frightening incident.
Radimak’s History of Violent Road Rage Cases
Nathaniel Radimak was already well known to police before the Hawaii attack.
He previously became infamous in California after several violent road rage incidents beginning in 2020. In some cases, he reportedly attacked drivers with a metal pipe while driving a Tesla.
In 2023, Radimak was sentenced to five years in prison in California for one of those cases. However, he was released on parole after serving less than one year.
After moving to Hawaii, police said he was involved in additional aggressive incidents, including threatening a woman at a Planet Fitness gym and attempting to strike her.
Radimak Expresses Regret During Sentencing
During his sentencing hearing, Radimak admitted he made poor decisions and expressed regret over the attack.
“This was not on the agenda that day,” he reportedly said in court. “I regret it. I take accountability. I just feel bad about it.”
Despite his statement, many people online questioned whether his repeated violent behaviour should have led to harsher punishment earlier.
Public Concern Over Repeat Offenders
The case has sparked fresh discussions about repeat offenders and public safety. Many people believe Radimak’s earlier release from prison may have allowed more violent incidents to happen.
The attack also raised concerns about road rage becoming more dangerous and unpredictable in recent years.
