OKLAHOMA CITY — Trinity Brown, 20, was arrested by the Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD) days before being jailed for alleged ties to the Arcadia Lake shooting. Body camera footage released by OKCPD shows Brown being taken into custody at a metro apartment complex on May 10.
According to an affidavit, prior to her arrest, Brown honked her horn at a car stopped in traffic. She then drove in front of that vehicle, which had two people inside, got out, and pointed a black pistol at them near the intersection of NW 36th and Drexel.
The police footage also captures Brown exiting the apartment unit with her hands up, being guided down stairs by officers. She is heard telling someone she loves them and asking officers, “What’s going on?” Authorities replied that she would be told in just a minute.
After being taken into custody on May 10, Brown bonded out of jail the same day, but was arrested again two days later. On May 12, the Edmond Police Department arrested her for alleged ties to the lake shooting. She now faces felony charges of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of a Firearm.
