A deadly late-night fight at a Virginia gas station has ended with one man dead and another facing serious criminal charges. Authorities say the violent incident happened near the gas pumps after an argument between a customer and an employee turned physical.
Virginia Man Charged After Deadly Gas Station Stabbing
Michael Orlando Dickey, 42, has been arrested and charged with manslaughter following a fatal stabbing at a Shell gas station in Dumfries, Virginia.
According to the Prince William County Police Department, the incident happened around midnight on Sunday at the gas station located on Dumfries Road.
Police say Dickey is currently being held without bond while the investigation continues.
Victim Identified as 20-Year-Old Man
The victim was identified as 20-year-old Jonathan David Ferreyra Agapito.
Authorities said Agapito was involved in a physical altercation with Dickey, who reportedly worked at the gas station.
The exact reason behind the fight has not yet been revealed by investigators.
Fight Escalated Near Gas Pumps
According to police, the argument between the two men became violent near the gas pumps outside the business.
During the altercation, Dickey allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Agapito once in the upper body.
