Total U.S. Military Deaths in Iran War Rise
With the latest death, the total number of American service members killed in the Iran conflict has now reached seven.

Those troops died during a strike that targeted a temporary operations center located at the civilian port of Shuaiba in Kuwait on March 1.
The attack reportedly happened without warning.
Six Soldiers Honored at Dover Air Force Base
The bodies of the six soldiers killed in Kuwait were returned to the United States during a dignified transfer ceremony at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
President Donald Trump attended the ceremony along with senior government officials and the families of the fallen troops.
The soldiers were all assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command, an Army Reserve unit based in Iowa.
Dignified transfers are formal military ceremonies used to honour service members who died while serving their country.
President Trump Addresses Families’ Reactions
During an interview with ABC on Sunday, President Trump spoke about meeting with the families of the soldiers who were killed.
When asked whether those meetings made him reconsider the ongoing war, the president said the families expressed support for continuing the fight.
According to Trump, several parents told him they wanted the United States to win the war in honor of their children who had died.
He also acknowledged that more casualties could occur as the conflict continues.
The president said attending additional dignified transfers could happen in the future, noting that such losses are unfortunately part of war.
