Argument Turns Into a Serious Incident
A 59-year-old woman, Lisa Decaprio, has been charged with arson and harassment after a domestic dispute in Seaford, New York. According to the Nassau County Police Department, the incident happened on Friday evening at a home on Neptune Avenue.
Police officers reached the spot around 8:14 p.m. after receiving a report of a disturbance. When they arrived, they found that Decaprio had been involved in a heated argument with a 63-year-old man who lived in the same house.
Threats and Escalation
Authorities said the argument started as a verbal fight but quickly got worse. During the dispute, Decaprio allegedly began throwing items at the man. The exact reason behind the fight has not been shared by police.
As the situation intensified, Decaprio reportedly made a serious threat, saying she would burn the house down. This warning soon turned into action when she allegedly set a pillow on fire inside the home.
