OKCPD apprehended a second suspect in the Arcadia Lake shooting for road rage just days before

Trinity Brown, 20, was arrested by the Oklahoma City Police Department just days before being jailed for her alleged connection to the Arcadia Lake shooting.

Arrest Details

Body camera footage released by OKCPD shows Brown being arrested at a metro apartment complex on May 10. Before the arrest, an affidavit says she honked at a car stopped in traffic. She then drove in front of the vehicle, which had two people inside, got out, and pointed a black pistol at them near NW 36th and Drexel.

The footage shows Brown walking out of the apartment with her hands up, guided down stairs by police officers. She can be heard telling someone she loves them and asking police, “What’s going on?” Officers replied that she would be told shortly.

After her arrest on May 10, Brown was released on bond the same day. However, she was arrested again two days later by the Edmond Police Department for alleged involvement in the lake shooting.

Charges and Background

Brown now faces felony charges for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of a Firearm. She has previous felony convictions, including Robbery with a Firearm and Obstructing an Officer.

Brown is the second suspect arrested in this mass shooting investigation. Many details about her role remain unclear because court documents are sealed. The Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office told News 4 that sealing the documents is necessary for “the safety of all involved parties.”

This also applies to documents for 18-year-old Jaylan Davis, who was arrested before Brown. His previously public records are now sealed as well.
