Oklahoma – A man accused of breaking into multiple homes and attacking women is facing a staggering 28 charges, including kidnapping, robbery, and attempted sexual assault.
According to the Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office, 44-year-old Pepe Morales is linked to a series of break-ins that occurred between April 2024 and April 2025.
The Alleged Crimes
Morales is accused of breaking into eight homes over the span of a year. During these break-ins, he allegedly robbed, kidnapped, and attempted to sexually assault several women.
Prosecutors also claim that he robbed three victims at gunpoint. The charges against him paint a disturbing picture of a man engaging in multiple violent crimes over an extended period.
Initial and Additional Charges
Initially, Morales faced 17 charges, including:
- Second-degree burglary
- False declaration of ownership
- First-degree robbery
- Five counts of first-degree burglary
- First-degree attempted rape
- Peeping Tom
- Two counts of robbery with a firearm
- Kidnapping
- Attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon
- Felon in possession of a firearm
- Possession of a controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
However, following his preliminary hearing, Morales is now facing an additional 11 charges, bringing the total to 28. These new charges include:
- Grand larceny in a dwelling
- Sexual battery
- Two counts of kidnapping
- Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon
- First-degree robbery
- Four counts of assault and battery while masked
Bail and Court Dates
Morales is currently being held on a $500,000 bond. His formal arraignment is scheduled for May 27th, 2026, where he will face the full set of charges against him.
