The Allentown Police Department confirmed on Monday, May 18, that an 18-year-old victim died in hospital after being shot during an incident at a McDonald’s restaurant.
The shooting happened on Friday, May 15, at the McDonald’s located on Union Boulevard in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Police officers responded to reports of gunfire around 9:10 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the teenager suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency first aid was provided before the victim was transported to a nearby hospital by Allentown EMS.
Authorities later confirmed the teen died from his injuries on Monday.
Second Person Also Injured
According to reports, another person was also injured during the shooting. However, officials have not publicly shared details about that person’s current medical condition.
