A shocking murder case from California has reached a major turning point after a jury found a man guilty of killing a tech CEO during a planned robbery. Man Convicted in CEO Murder Case
Joshua Camps has been found guilty by a jury in Santa Cruz, California, for his role in the killing of Tushar Atre. The verdict was delivered recently after a detailed trial.
He was convicted of multiple charges, including first-degree murder, kidnapping, robbery, burglary, and carjacking.
Accomplices Already Convicted
Camps was not alone in the crime. Three other men — Kaleb Charters, Kurtis Charters, and Stephen Lindsay — were also involved in the incident.
All three had already been convicted of first-degree murder in separate trials held last year.
Background of the Dispute
During earlier court proceedings, it was revealed that two of the accused had worked for Atre before the incident. They claimed they were made to work long hours for relatively low pay.

After the initial attack, the group kidnapped Atre and forced him into a vehicle. They then drove him to his cannabis farm.
At that location, Camps shot Atre in the back of the head, killing him.
