A tragic incident from Florida has taken a heartbreaking turn, as a woman who was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident has passed away after fighting for her life for two years. The case has once again raised concerns about road safety and accountability.
What Happened in the Accident
The incident took place on April 6, 2024, in Miramar, Florida. Onyxia Delinois was out jogging when she was suddenly hit by a vehicle on Miramar Parkway near Southwest 184th Avenue.
The driver did not stop and fled the scene, making it a hit-and-run case. Despite efforts, authorities have still not identified or arrested the driver responsible.
Serious Injuries and Long Recovery
After the accident, Onyxia suffered severe brain injuries. She was immediately taken to the hospital, where she remained for several months.
