A 64-year-old man, James Pelzer, has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing his 39-year-old stepdaughter, Alanda Cuffee. The incident happened on April 19 in Pensacola.
Police have charged Pelzer with second-degree murder, and he is currently in custody without bail.

Authorities received a call about a shooting at Pelzer’s home on Gulf Breeze Avenue. When deputies arrived, they found Pelzer outside the house, kneeling in the street.

Inside the home, officers discovered Alanda Cuffee lying on the floor. She had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was found in a pool of blood.
