A Colorado man will spend the rest of his life behind bars after being sentenced to more than 200 years for the brutal killing of a respected university music professor during a home invasion.

Colorado Man Sentenced to 224 Years for Murder of Professor Haleh Abghari
Caesar Wilson, 54, was sentenced on May 6 after being convicted in the murder of 54-year-old Haleh Abghari.
According to the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Wilson received a sentence of 224 years in prison following his February conviction.
A jury found him guilty of:
- Two counts of second-degree murder
- Aggravated robbery

Haleh Abghari Found Fatally Stabbed in Her Home
Police say Haleh Abghari was found dead inside her Colorado Springs home on August 7, 2024.
