A shocking family murder case in Australia has left an entire community in shock after a man was accused of killing three members of his own family during a violent overnight attack.
Police say the horrifying incident happened inside a family home in Rosemeadow, where officers discovered multiple victims and what investigators later described as an extremely disturbing crime scene.
Man Charged After Three Family Members Found Dead in Sydney Home
Authorities in New South Wales have charged 32-year-old Jacky Feng with:
- Three counts of murder
- One count of attempted murder
Police say the suspect was arrested shortly after the deadly attack and remains in custody after being refused bail.
He is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.
Emergency Services Responded to Late-Night Family Attack
According to the New South Wales Police Force, emergency services were called to the family home at around 1:30 a.m. on May 3 after reports of a violent attack involving multiple family members.
When officers arrived, they found several victims with severe injuries.
Police immediately began emergency treatment while searching the property for other victims.
Three Family Members Died in the Attack
Authorities confirmed that three members of the same family lost their lives.
The victims were identified as:
- Zhou Chao Feng, 64
- Ruvena Lam, 65
- Justin Feng, 25
Police say Zhou Chao Feng was found alive with serious head injuries but later died at the hospital.
Ruvena Lam and Justin Feng were pronounced dead at the scene.
Another Family Member Survived and Called for Help
A 30-year-old family member survived the attack and reportedly made a desperate emergency call while the violence was still happening.
Authorities say this emergency call played an important role in the rapid police response.
The survivor was found injured but alive.
Police Arrested Suspect Shortly After Attack
At around 2:30 a.m., police say a silver sedan arrived near the crime scene.
Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested Jacky Feng without further incident.
Investigators later confirmed that the suspect is the son of Zhou Chao Feng and Ruvena Lam, and the brother of the other victims.
Police Describe ‘Grisly’ Crime Scene
During a media briefing, investigators described the home as an extremely disturbing and violent crime scene.
Authorities say officers found victims in different areas of the property, including a separate granny flat at the rear of the home.
Police believe more than one weapon may have been used during the attack.

Police say the family was not well known to law enforcement.
Investigators also stated there had been no previous domestic violence incidents involving the family.
