A disturbing case from Georgia has come to light, where a woman was allegedly attacked and held captive for several hours. The incident has raised serious concerns about safety and the misuse of trust in everyday situations.
Man Arrested in Assault and Rape Case
Police have arrested Ezekiel Jackson, 23, in connection with a serious crime reported earlier this month. The incident took place in Canton on April 6.
Authorities say the accused is facing multiple charges, including rape, assault, and unlawful confinement.
Victim Went to Provide Cleaning Service
According to police reports, the woman had gone to Jackson’s residence to provide cleaning services. She had been contacted through a messaging app.
What started as a normal work visit quickly turned into a dangerous situation.
Allegations of Violent Attack
The victim told police that Jackson attacked her with a screwdriver. Reports claim she was seriously injured during the assault, including being stabbed in the eye.
Investigators say she was then sexually assaulted multiple times over several hours.
Held Against Her Will
Police believe the woman was not allowed to leave the house and was kept there for a long period. During this time, she was allegedly abused in different areas of the home.
Authorities say the incident lasted from morning until evening.
Victim Escaped by Smart Thinking
The woman managed to convince the accused to take her to a hospital. She reportedly told him that she would pretend they were in a relationship and that her injuries were due to a fall.
Once she reached the hospital, she informed authorities about the alleged crime.
Accused Taken Into Custody
Jackson was arrested at the hospital while waiting for the victim. Police confirmed that he is currently being held without bail.
He is facing several serious charges, including:
- Three counts of rape
- Aggravated battery
- False imprisonment
- Aggravated assault
Investigation Ongoing
Police have not shared details about the victim’s current condition. The case is still under investigation, and more updates may come as legal proceedings continue.
