A tragic incident in Florida has taken a serious turn after police arrested a man nearly two months after a deadly fall from a high-rise building. What initially appeared to be a fall is now being treated as a possible crime following new evidence and investigation.
Man Dies After Fall from High-Rise
Justin Zelin, a biotech executive, died on February 15 in Miami Beach, Florida, after falling from the 25th floor of his apartment building. Authorities confirmed that he died due to blunt force trauma after hitting the ground.
The case became suspicious after details from a 911 call and surveillance footage began to surface.
Disturbing 911 Call Reveals Struggle
On the morning of the incident, Zelin made a 911 call reporting a disturbance inside his apartment. During the call, he could be heard repeatedly asking another man to leave.
Police say the man was later identified as Corey Hutterli, who was also referred to by the alias “Sasha.”
Investigators reported that sounds of a violent struggle could be heard during the call. Just eight minutes after the call began, security footage showed Zelin falling from the building.
Suspect Seen Leaving the Scene
When officers arrived, they reportedly saw Hutterli leaving the building in a distressed and agitated condition. According to police, he appeared to be in such a hurry that he was not even wearing shoes.
Hutterli allegedly seemed surprised to see the police and later asked whether Zelin had jumped. He also claimed that Zelin had attacked him.
DNA Evidence Leads to Arrest
During the investigation, police found blood on Hutterli’s shirt. Forensic testing later confirmed that the blood matched Justin Zelin’s DNA.
This evidence became a key factor in linking Hutterli to the incident and led to his arrest on April 8, shortly after his 37th birthday.

Corey Hutterli now faces serious charges, including:
