A shocking incident at a restaurant in Pennsylvania has left people stunned after a man allegedly attacked his co-worker just minutes after arriving at work. What started as a complaint about workload quickly turned into a violent situation, leading to serious charges against the accused.
Sudden attack at workplace
McKinley Maurice Pace Jr., 35, is currently wanted by police for multiple charges, including aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and harassment.
The incident took place on March 27 at DeNunzio’s Restaurant in Jeannette, a town located near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. According to authorities, Pace had just reached his workplace when things escalated quickly.
Argument over work responsibilities
Reports suggest that Pace was upset about doing tasks that he believed belonged to other employees. Soon after arriving, he began complaining loudly about the situation.
Witnesses said he shouted that he had “had enough” and even threatened to punch a specific co-worker. The co-worker responded by telling him that he was right there and there was no need for any confrontation.
Physical assault on co-worker and his wife
Despite the warning, Pace allegedly attacked the co-worker. He is accused of punching the man in the face multiple times.
The situation became even more serious when Pace reportedly also hit the co-worker’s wife, who was present at the scene. Both victims were assaulted during the incident.
According to the restaurant’s general manager, Pace had been at work for only one minute before he started the attack.
Police response and investigation
Police were called to the restaurant after reports of a fight. However, by the time officers arrived, Pace had already left the location.
Authorities have since issued a warrant for his arrest and are actively searching for him. The police have also asked the public to come forward with any information that could help locate the suspect.
