The Oklahoma Sooners football continue to build momentum on the recruiting trail, this time with 2027 wide receiver Kyron Brown.
Brown recently visited Norman during spring practices and came away highly impressed. He shared his experience on social media, saying he “loved every second” of his time with the program.
Early Offer Paying Off
Oklahoma was one of the first major programs to believe in Brown’s potential. When the Sooners offered him earlier this year, he had only a few Power Four offers, including Oklahoma State Cowboys football and Arizona State Sun Devils football.
Since then, his recruitment has taken off. Programs like Arkansas Razorbacks football, Mississippi State Bulldogs football, Syracuse Orange football, Wake Forest Demon Deacons football, Northwestern Wildcats football, and Kansas State Wildcats football have all entered the picture.
Rising Star on the Field
Brown, listed at 6 feet tall, is known for his speed and athleticism, also competing in track. Last season, he recorded 37 receptions for 637 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging an impressive 17.2 yards per catch.
Sooners Building a Strong 2027 Class
Oklahoma already has a strong foundation for its 2027 recruiting class, currently ranked No. 1. The class includes wide receivers like Demare Dezeurn, Greydon Howell, and Tra’Von Hall.
With early interest and a strong visit experience, the Sooners are in a solid position to stay near the top of Brown’s list as his recruitment continues to grow.
