A routine morning commute turned tragic in Oklahoma City after a bicyclist was struck and killed at the intersection of Newcastle Road and MacArthur Boulevard.
According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers arrived to find the cyclist with severe injuries. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash caused major traffic disruptions, shutting down lanes and slowing the morning commute as investigators examined the area. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
