Jogger Attacked Near Campus
According to officials, the incident took place on Sunday, March 29, around 6:15 p.m. The woman was jogging near the university when a man allegedly approached her.
Police say the suspect grabbed her and forced her into a nearby landscaped area close to a residential space, where the assault reportedly took place.
Suspect Was Armed
Authorities revealed that the suspect was carrying a semi-automatic handgun in his waistband during the attack. This detail has increased concerns about public safety in the area.
