JOHNSON COUNTY, Ark. — An Arkansas man was arrested on multiple charges following a drunk driving crash that resulted in the death of a former Durant city councilmember.
Dio Caldwell, 68, of London, Arkansas, was booked into the Johnson County Jail on May 16. He faces several charges, including negligent homicide, driving while intoxicated, and failure to maintain control.
According to the Arkansas State Police, former Durant city councilman Mike Morris was riding his motorcycle when Caldwell struck him with a vehicle.
